Public Retail Gasoline Pricing Databases Redux

As a bit of a follow-up to my Public RetailGasoline Pricing Database entry of September 6th, I thought itworthwhile to note a very interesting web application that a friendput together (which he was coincidentally working on at the sametime, though neither of us was aware of the other’s activities inthat realm). You can find it at http://www.keeptrackofit.com. It’sinnovative in the way that it includes Google Maps as a coreelement of the interface. That makes sense given how criticalproximity is to our market choices.

It doesn’t fulfill the need for total coverage and absolutelyup-to-date pricing – which would only be achieveable throughgovernment regulations – but it’s definitely another stepin the right direction.
