FMM
Had some Anthropic quota left, so right after finishing up a video about the Fast Multipole Method, I asked Opus 5 to spin up a WebGPU example of the FMM algorithm for a large number of bodies, which we shall call n-bodies.
Opus 5 failed. It spun in a loop endlessly finding its WebGPU implementation was yielding null sets and invalid calculations, finally just giving up entirely.
Switched to Fable 5, and it immediately fixed the problem, and created a pretty banger example. Note that it requires WebGPU and has no affordances for small screen devices. You can click on individual bodies and trace their movement within the gravitational fields.
Super impressive. And I personally find it meditative to watch it evolve over time.
I share this as a novelty. I wrote zero lines of this, and my input was just in asking a model to create it.
Morocco
Morocco sent dozens of Moroccans to their death (50+ are dead in this stunt so far), and basically declared war on both Spain and NATO, which should absolutely respond in kind. This is 100% hybrid warfare1, and it should be treated as such.
Morocco’s tyrannical, archaic ruler should be obliterated and its government overthrown, ideally by its own people who were used as worthless pawns to aggravate Spain. Morocco’s king is a big Trump knob-shiner, having recently named a highway after the senile pedophile rapist, knowing that pandering to that grotesque abomination gets him to misuse the US government for his malice. The world’s garbage have all lined up behind Trump.
Here’s the fun part – this murderous stunt was almost certainly encouraged by the US, which as has been repeatedly observed is by far the most dangerous, rogue country on the planet. Trump had a grievance with Spain2, and the US is so busted now that simply causing harm to better nations and groups like the EU is enough to get their hearts afluttering.
Footnotes
-
It is untenable hybrid warfare when any country pulls a stunt like this, willingly killing people. And yes, it was the same when Mexico would herd migrants to the US border, and it was astonishing it was tolerated for so long. ↩
-
Not unlike the ridiculous farce where the US openly pondered backing Argentina’s claim to the Falklands, all because Trump was a pissy little bitch when the UK temporarily blocked war crimes from originating from UK bases. This transactional type of activity, betraying literally zero values, undermines everything. It does no one any good, most especially the US. ↩
